Synthflow

04 Automation

Still the phone-agent seat, but 2026 changed the buy: Synthflow retired its self-serve tiers, and published pricing now starts at $30,000-a-year enterprise contracts with an unpublished pay-as-you-go path. An agent that answers and books at 2am still pays for itself at real call volume — just expect a sales conversation, not a $29 test. Demo before you commit, and watch this seat.

The job in the stack

The phone seat: AI voice agents handling inbound calls, qualification, and booking without a human on the line.

Pricing

Pay-As-You-Gousage-basedFree to build agents, pay per call — but Synthflow no longer publishes per-minute rates; the docs pricing page now redirects to enterprise sales

The honest read

What works

  • +Answers every call, every hour — the leak most small businesses never measure
  • +No-code flow builder plus calendar and CRM integrations
  • +Human-transfer paths keep the trust boundary manageable

What breaks

  • Published pricing is enterprise-only — contracts start at $30,000/yr
  • Pay-as-you-go rates are no longer published; you learn the price in a sales conversation
  • Complex or emotional calls still need a human — script the handoff
  • AI-caller regulations vary by region; compliance is on you

Use it for

  • Service businesses missing after-hours calls
  • Lead qualification before a human closes
  • Appointment booking at volume

Skip it if

  • ×Call volume is low enough for a human — warmth still converts better
  • ×Your market or clients react badly to AI callers — know your audience
  • ×You need published, predictable pricing — Synthflow no longer offers it

Questions operators ask

?Will callers know it's an AI?

Good ones sound close to human, but assume yes — and in several jurisdictions you must disclose it. Design the script so disclosure doesn't kill the call: competence builds more trust than pretending.

What changed

  1. Freshness sweep — re-verified on synthflow.ai/pricing: the page still shows only Enterprise, with both CTAs routing to Contact Sales / Get a Demo. No published per-minute pay-as-you-go rates on the official page, matching last month's finding. Third-party guides continue to quote PAYG figures around $0.08-0.25/min plus a $1.50/mo phone number line and a $2,000/mo white-label reseller add-on, but none of that is confirmed on Synthflow's own site — not added to the record until it is. No change to pricing table or verdict.
  2. REAL DRIFT — self-serve pricing retired: synthflow.ai/pricing now shows only enterprise contracts starting at $30,000/yr; the Starter $29 / Pro $99 / Growth $449 / Agency $899 tiers we verified July 11 are gone, and the docs pay-as-you-go page redirects to enterprise pricing. Pay-as-you-go still exists (free to build, pay per call) but the vendor no longer publishes per-minute rates. Pricing table, verdict, cons, and skip-ifs rewritten for the enterprise pivot.
  3. Real drift found: the seeded ~$375+/mo Pro estimate was wrong. Confirmed 4-tier structure on synthflow.ai: Starter $29 (50 min), Pro $99 (200 min), Growth $449 (1,000 min), Agency $899 (2,000 min), plus $0.15-0.25/min overage.
  4. Added to the stack (phone seat). Pricing seeded from January 2026 baseline, pending fresh verification by the update loop.
